Workshop Anvil 220lb (London pattern)

This Hardened Steel Anvil is designed for workshop use , it is based on the popular london pattern and is the equivalent size of a 2.1/2cwt solid anvil

It is fully heat treated all the way through the material to give you a consistent hardness this is possible due to the fact that it is cast with a hollow core. The heat treatment is able to soak to a consistent temperature thereby enabling a constant hardness throughout the whole of the anvil reducing the problems often encountered in traditional solid anvils of soft spots

After manufacture the anvils are filled with sound deadening material to reduce noise levels to the same as a solid cast anvil, this will enable users to comply with UK noise control levels

The Table and Bick of the anvils are accurately machined and polished to a high degree giving a superb working finish to the working area of this anvil
